This disk contains a demonstration of Dantz Development’s DiskFit products, DiskFit Direct and DiskFit Pro. If you need personal backup in Finder format to removable media, consider DiskFit Direct. With DiskFit Direct, your whole hard disk is backed up with just 3 clicks. Or for more features and options, including scheduled backup and timed duplicates, consider DiskFit Pro.
This demonstration requires at least two megabytes of memory and a 12 inch monitor. You may wish to increase the volume of your Macintosh using the Sound control panel.
To start the Demo:
1. Double-click the self-extracting compressed file labeled "DiskFit Demo Archive" on this floppy disk. You will be asked to select a folder on your hard disk in which to install this demo. This demo can not be run from a floppy disk. The demo takes up approximately 2.3 megabytes of disk space.
2. After the demo is installed on your hard disk, double-click the “DiskFit Demo” file to run the demo. The demo takes about 3 minutes, and loops back to the beginning once it has finished.
3. You may stop the demo at any time by pressing Command-Q.
For more sophisticated backups, especially to tape drives, consider Retrospect, the most powerful and easy-to-use backup software for Macintosh.
If you're already using Retrospect, include other users on your network in the backup, with our Remote 10 or 50 packs. Just install the Remote INIT on each Macintosh and add them to your Retrospect backup script. Backing up an entire network with a single storage device couldn't be easier.
